Where is the serial number on my Takeuchi or Bandit Equipment?
When it comes to buying replacement parts for your Takeuchi or Bandit equipment it is necessary to provide your serial number and model number for your equipment.
Why are these needed?
Like the auto industry, sometimes equipment manufacturers change the parts they use in equipment in the middle of the year for various reasons, or the machine is custom made, so in order to be certain we are finding the right part for your machine, it is necessary to know both the model number and the serial number of your track loader, mini excavator, stump grinder or wood chipper.
Where can the model number and serial number be found on my Takeuchi equipment?
On your Takeuchi track loader, you will find a small metal plate affixed to the front of the machine under the front glass/door. This plate will have both the model number and the serial number of the unit.

Where can I find my serial number on my Bandit Wood Chipper?
Bandit makes each of its units custom so Bandit maintains a “build sheet” of each unit they manufacture. The number to reference this build sheet is welded to the tongue of the machine’s trailer. Note that the engine and bellhousing may also have numbers on them, but the number welded to the tongue indicates all parts the machine was built with and is the best way to identify your particular Bandit Wood Chipper.
